Sierra Vista Insulation was founded in 2023 right here in Sierra Vista - the largest city in Cochise County and a community we call home. We started because homeowners in this area needed a local insulation contractor who actually understood the climate: real winters with freezing nights, intense summer sun at nearly 4,600 feet of elevation, and the fast monsoon storms that roll in off the Huachuca Mountains every July and August.
A large share of the homes in Sierra Vista were built in the 1970s through the 1990s to house military families at Fort Huachuca. Those houses were insulated to the standards of their era, which means many of them are letting a significant amount of heating and cooling escape every day. We built this company to fix that - for homeowners who are tired of high utility bills and rooms that never quite reach a comfortable temperature.
